Bring your SoulPrint to life

One passport, two doors. Your SoulPrint — identity, memory and context — lives in your account. These are just the ways in, so pick the one that matches how you use AI. You don’t need both, and everything you teach it through one door is already waiting through the other.

Chat in the browser

Easiest path — no terminal required.

PULL IN YOUR OLDER MEMORIES

Already told ChatGPT or Claude a lot about yourself? Paste this into a new chat and it will list everything it remembers. The extension catches the list and lets you review each item before saving.

@soulprint-import

List everything you know about me as a flat bullet list. One specific fact per line, written in third person ("Works at X", "Has a dog named Y", "Prefers Z"). Include personal details, preferences, relationships, work, health, goals, and anything else you've learned about me. Omit anything you are unsure about. Output only the list — no intro, no outro.
IN MUSE

Muse (Meta)

Muse doesn’t have a settings screen for MCP servers — so you connect SoulPrint by asking Muse to build the connector for you.

How to connect

One prompt, one sign-in.

  1. 1Open a new chat in Muse (muse.ai, the app, or Mac).
  2. 2Paste the prompt into the chat.
  3. 3Muse shows a sign-in link — open it and sign in with your SoulPrint account.
  4. 4Approve the permission Muse asks for. Muse will request permission to share information between itself and SoulPrint. Approve it — without that, Muse can’t read your memories or save new ones.
  5. 5Muse lists your SoulPrint tools and saves the connector as a reusable skill.
Once connected, Muse reads your SoulPrint and can save new memories back to it — so what it learns carries over to ChatGPT, Claude, and your coding agents.

The prompt to paste

Copy everything below into a new Muse chat.

Build a custom connector to my SoulPrint at https://soulprintengine.ai/api/mcp

It's a remote MCP server over streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in — there's no API key to paste. Dynamic client registration is supported.

Connect to it, sign me in when prompted, then list the tools it gives you. Once it works, save it as a reusable skill called "SoulPrint" so you can use it in any conversation.

Muse runs in Meta’s cloud, so it connects to the public SoulPrint server. Your memories stay in your SoulPrint account — Muse reads and writes through the same API as every other connected AI.

ON THE WEBSITES

On the ChatGPT & Claude websites

Set this up on the website, not inside the desktop app. Browsers are the path we test and support — the same steps in a desktop app can fail at the sign-in step.

ChatGPT.com

Add SoulPrint as a custom connector.

  1. 1One-time prerequisite: enable Developer Mode — Settings → Security and login → Developer mode on. Without it, ChatGPT shows “Developer mode is required” when you add the server.
  2. 2Open chatgpt.com and click Plugins.
  3. 3Click Create app, then New Plugin… (lands in Settings → Connectors).
  4. 4Paste the server URL: https://soulprintengine.ai/api/mcp
  5. 5Check “I understand and want to continue…” → click Create.
  6. 6Sign in with SoulPrint MCP when it prompts.
  7. 7Open the app’s Permissions → Allow all tools. (Some accounts word this “Allow all actions” — same setting. If you don’t allow all, SoulPrint can be blocked from saving.)
  8. 8Start a new chat — your SoulPrint tools are ready.

Claude.ai

Add SoulPrint as a custom connector.

  1. 1Open claude.ai (a new chat is fine) and click your profile icon in the bottom-left.
  2. 2Click Settings.
  3. 3Click Connectors → Add → Add custom connector.
  4. 4Name it SoulPrint and paste the server URL: https://soulprintengine.ai/api/mcp
  5. 5Authentication: leave the OAuth client fields blank. SoulPrint supports dynamic client registration, so Claude registers itself when you connect. The Client ID and Client Secret boxes are only for servers that need a pre-registered client — ours doesn’t, and filling them in will fail.
  6. 6Click Add / Connect. Claude opens a SoulPrint sign-in window — sign in with your account and approve access.
  7. 7You land back in Claude and the connector reads Connected. Start a new chat — your SoulPrint tools are ready.
Running the extension and the app connector together is fine — the extension detects when SoulPrint MCP is connected and stays in the background, so context is never injected twice.

Using ChatGPT Business or Enterprise?

Your account works differently, and a workspace admin has to set it up.

  1. 1You need workspace admin rights — or an admin who will do this. On a Business/Enterprise workspace, individual members usually can’t add connectors themselves.
  2. 2In the workspace admin portal, enable custom connectors / developer mode for the workspace.
  3. 3Create the connector as an MCP plugin using the same server URL: https://soulprintengine.ai/api/mcp
  4. 4Accept the risk acknowledgment the admin portal shows for third-party plugins. Setup can’t continue until an admin accepts it.
  5. 5Publish it to the workspace, then sign in with your SoulPrint account and allow all tools.

If you’re not the admin and don’t want to ask, the browser extension path above needs no admin at all — it works on any account.
